2023-2024 Sacrament Information

First Holy Communion 2024 begins April 13

• The First Holy Communion Retreat will be held Saturday, April 6^th in the Kernan Center from 10AM - Noon. Parents/caregivers can drop off their children beginning at 9:45 AM.
• First Holy Communion will be held on the following dates:
• April 13 -  5 PM Mass
• April 14 -  7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 AM Mass
• April 20 - 5 PM Mass
• April 21 -  7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 AM Mass
• April 27 -  5 PM Mass
• April 28 -  7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 AM Mass
• May 4 -  5 PM Mass
• May 5 -  7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 AM Mass
• Every Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 morning Mass beginning Tuesday April 16 through May 2, 2024.
• Parents/caregivers can reserve preferred time/date by clicking HERE.

Note: All children must have made their First Penance before they receive First Holy Communion. Contact the PREP office for more information.

Children’s attire: Sunday Best; no jeans, no T-shirts; no sneakers, flip flops, or shoes with flapping heels. Boys can wear a suit and tie. Girls can wear dresses; white is appropriate, but not required. If gloves are worn, they need to be removed before receiving First Holy Communion.

• The 2024 Confirmation packet was due January 12, 2024. You can download it here.
• Confirmation Service (held in church) - Saturday March 23, 2024
• For last names A-H, your Confirmation service is 10:00 AM. Please arrive at the church no later than 9:30 AM.
• For last names I-Z, your Confirmation service is 12:00 PM. Please arrive at the church no later than 11:30 AM. 
• Robes/Attire
• Young Men
• Suit or sports coat and dress pants with dress shirt and tie; or dress shirt and tie; sports coat optional; dress shoes. The following are not appropriate:
• Tennis shoes/sneakers
• Jeans, Khakis or baggy pants
• Tee shirts or Polo Shirts
• Novelty neckties (e.g., cartoon characters, logos, etc.)
• Formal Tuxedos
• Young Women
• Modest dress, skirt and blouse, pant suit or dress pants and blouse (dress or skirt must be knee length or longer; chest, back and shoulders must be covered); dress shoes. The following are not appropriate:
• Tennis shoes/sneakers
• Strapless dresses
• Mini-skirts
• Jeans skirt, casual or Khaki skirts
• Tight, backless, or low cut dresses
• Exposing the abdomen
• Formal evening gowns
• Stoles and tiaras are not permitted
• Your robe must be worn correctly, e.g., zipped-up completely.
• Robes will be distributed on the day of the Confirmation Rehearsal.
• Confirmation Rehearsal (held in church) - Saturday March 16 at 10 AM and 11:30 AM.
• Confirmation Rehearsal  Times: 
• 10 AM – 11:15 AM for last names A-H
• 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM for last names I-Z
• Sponsors should attend the rehearsal with Confirmandi when possible.
• Be sure to read this document, "2024 Behavior Guidelines and Confirmandi/Sponsor Responses."
• Confirmation Robes will be distributed after the rehearsal. A Flocknote will be sent for ordering robes.

• Confirmation Interviews - were held Saturday, February 3, 2024  10AM - 2PM.
