PREP Sacrament Information
Sacrament Dates & Information

PREP is dedicated to serving all our students and families, including those attending (or who have attended) PREP and those currently attending Catholic School. The following resources are presented to assist all PREP students and families as they prepare to receive their Sacraments during the 2025-26 academic year.
Some dates are subject to change.
CONFIRMATION 2026
- Confirmation Interviews
- Saturday February 7
- Kernan Center 10 AM - 2 PM
- If you have not already done so, please make an appointment for an interview HERE.

- Confirmation Retreat
- Saturday February 28
- Kernan Center Noon - 4:45 PM then attend Mass at 5 PM.
- Confirmandi should arrive by 11:45 AM.
- Parents/guardians may pick up their children after Mass at the church.
- Sponsors do not need to attend the Retreat.

Confirmation will be held on
Saturday March 7, 2026
Confirmation Times: There are 2 services in the church:
- Service 1: 10:00–11:15 AM
- Service 2: 12:30–1:45 PM
Families are assigned to services based on the Confirmandi’s last name:
Last names A–H:
- Confirmation begins at 10:00 AM
- Confirmandi and Sponsors should arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 AM
- Please enter through the front doors of the church for check-in.
Last names I–Z:
- Confirmation begins at 12:30 PM
- Confirmandi and Sponsors should arrive between 11:45 AM and 12:00 PM
- Please enter through the front doors of the church for check-in.
Confirmation Rehearsal (In the church)
Saturday, February 21
- 10:00–11:15 AM – Last names A–H
- 11:30 AM–12:45 PM – Last names I–Z
Sponsors should attend the rehearsal. If a sponsor is unable to attend, a parent/guardian—or a member of the PREP team—may serve as a substitute for the rehearsal.
The rehearsal is very important! We will review the entire Confirmation service, including where to stand, where to sit, what to say, the responses required between Confirmandi, Sponsors, and the Bishop, as well as all procedural details.
Sacrament of Penance
Reminder: Confirmandi must receive the Sacrament of Penance prior to being Confirmed. Confessions are heard Monday through Saturday immediately following the 8:30 AM Mass, and on Saturdays from 4:00–4:30 PM.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2026
- The First Holy Communion Retreat will be held in the Kernan Center from 10AM - Noon on Saturday April 11. Parents/caregivers can drop off their children beginning at 9:45 AM.
- First Holy Communion Masses will be held on weekends and on 2 week days throughout the month of May 2026. Specific dates and reservations will be available in early Spring 2026.
- Reservations for First Holy Communion Mass will be available in early Spring 2026.
Note: All children must have made their First Penance before they receive First Holy Communion.

Children’s attire: Sunday Best; no jeans, no T-shirts; no sneakers, flip flops, or shoes with flapping heels. Boys can wear a suit and tie. Girls can wear dresses; white is appropriate, but not required. If gloves are worn, they need to be removed before receiving First Holy Communion.

Sacramental Fees for Catholic School Students
(PREP students pay this as part of their tuition.)
- Please contact the PREP Office before paying fees to learn what's available for your child.
- There is a $35 fee required for all sacrament grades 2 and 8.
